Dasari Jai Ramesh is the Chairman of Vijai Electricals. The firm was recognized by Government of India as a "Trading House" in 1997.

Raja Venkatadri Naidu Vasireddy, the last king of the Vasireddy Clan that ruled parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh is a Kamma. He built many temples in Amaravathi, Mangalagiri, Chebrolu, Ponnuru, Vijayawada, Srisailam and other places.

N. Leela Krishnan, the Indian sportsman, Rally and Race car tuner belonged to the Kamma community. He won 15 National Championship titles.
